AHA/JSA - Confined Space Entry

To safely conduct confined space entry work, it's crucial to follow strict safety protocols and procedures, including continuous monitoring of atmospheric conditions, adequate ventilation, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and the presence of a trained standby rescue team. Following AHA guidelines, performing risk assessments, use of a permit, and effective communication among the work crew are essential to mitigate these hazards and ensure the safety of workers entering confined spaces.

 As part of the Confined Space Entry AHA, other factors such as entrapment and engulfment are taken into account, as well as physical hazards and extreme temperatures.
